PIERRE F. BRAULT
Pierre F. Brault is one of the few Quebec film composers who has succeeded in becoming an established name in this field. Cinema, which he discovered as a youngster, has always been a fertile source of inspiration to him. Very much in demand at the National Film Board as well as in the private sector, he has worked with our best directors, including Gilles Carle, Claude Jutra and Frederic Back (animation). He eventually found his way into television, and it wasn't long before he left his mark. As a matter of fact, Brault is best known for the music he wrote for the popular educational television series Passe-Partout, broadcasted on Télé-Québec, and then on Radio-Canada (the French arm of the CBC), from 1978 through the mid 90's.
